The free event shuttle buses for Ultra-Trail Australia are the easiest way to access the event venue.
FREE SHUTTLE BUSES
On Friday, Saturday and Sunday there will be a free event shuttle bus service to take runners, support crews and spectators between Katoomba town centre and Scenic World.
On Friday and Saturday there will also be a free shuttle bus service to take runners, support crews and spectators between the town of Leura and Scenic World from 5am Saturday.
NOTE: If you are starting in one of the first three start groups in UTA100 or UTA50, it is recommended that you be ready to catch one of these early buses to not to miss your start time.
Refer to the bus timings and operating bus stops in the bus maps below. The buses will be on a continuous loop during their operating times.
- It is a 10–15-minute ride from The Carrington Hotel to Scenic World.
- It is a 20–25-minute ride from Fairmont Resort to Scenic World.

Parking Options
A limited number of parking passes are available for pre-purchase until sold out. Parking will be available at the KCC Oval, adjacent to the trail village at Scenic World. Parking is currently available for purchase via your MyEvents profile. Please log into your registration and select 'Additional Purchases’. See further details below.

- Please ensure you arrive for your parking during the times above and plan your departure accordingly
- Re-entry to the carpark will be allowed only for the day your parking purchase is valid
- NO overnight parking on KCC Oval Thursday night

- Ingress for parking will be available from 4:00AM – 6:00AM
- Access to parking will be CLOSED from 6:00AM – 9:15AM in order to facilitate a safe start line and race experience for UTA50 and UTA100 runners.
- Ingress/Egress for parking will resume from 9:15AM at the completion of the UTA50/UTA100 race starts
- Re-entry to the carpark will be allow only for the day your parking purchase is valid
Parking on KCC oval from 11:00PM – Mid day Sunday is FREE
- First come first served basis. Parking limited based on availability.
PARKING RESTRICTIONS
Parking outside of the KCC Oval is restricted on streets around the trail village with road closures and traffic management in place.
There is no parking at the Katoomba Golf Course as there has been in previous years.
Please respect all road closures, no parking signage and private property.
